The mission of PTA is
to make EVERY Child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering
families and communities to advocate for all children.
In 2017, National PTA celebrates 120 years of advocating for children. Reviewing our mission, to make EVERY Child’s potential a reality, leads us to recognize that there are groups of individuals that may not feel welcome as part of PTA or the school community.
With that in mind, we will convene the 107th Massachusetts PTA Convention on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Inn & Conference Center at UMass Lowell with ‘Opening Doors: Inclusion & Diversity in PTA.” We will spend the day exploring how we, as an organization, can engage and support those diverse populations we sometimes fail to recognize and include.
We hope that you will support us in this effort and join us as an exhibtor on March 18.
Setup will be 7 AM-8 AM on Saturday, March 18. There is no setup on Friday night. Free parking is available in attached garage. Link for overnight room reservation will be included in confirmation email.
